I like to weave all genres into a single composition in my work. Still life, landscape, portrait — all is firstly a composition, which might be full and complete and cause feelings and emotions or, on the contrary, might not causeabsolutely anything. Much attention I have paid to still life as a separate genre, which not simply shows the beauty of objective world, but reflects feelings, mood, personal experience. At the moment a lot of time is devoted to landscape. In recent years I have created a series of urban landscapes, which has become a participant in a lot of exhibitions, contests of regional and All-Russia level. Talking about portrait, I consider it not just a reflection of similarity with the person, but it’s more about searching and creating a particular image.
